Chances are, you have a box of dryer sheets in your laundry room. You know they work well for laundry, but they also have countless other genius uses around the house.

This guide has some great ideas that will make your life easier! Take a look, and let us know where you use these little sheets in your own home!

  1. Use to Ward Off Mice- Dryer sheets (specifically the Bounce brand) are known for working wonders to repel mice. Place them in a handful of locations where you struggle with mice issues. The ingredients in the sheets will work to keep the mice out of your home.

  2. To Clean Baseboards- The nature of dryer sheets makes them great at collecting dust and debris. Swipe over your baseboards for a quick cleaning solution that leaves behind a pleasant smell.

  3. A Sweeper Cloth Alternative- Those sweepers with the disposable pads are great at cleaning up around the house. The only problem is when you find yourself out of those disposable pads. Dryer sheets to the rescue! Simply use a dryer sheet in place to gather dust around your home.

  4. Soak off Baked on Oven Grates- This one of the most clever uses for these handy products. A couple of dryer sheets, some dish soap, and hot water can make baked on grease melt away overnight. Soak the grates in a bathtub with the above ingredients overnight then wipe away the mess!

They make a great reusable option for packing up holiday ornaments or small knick knacks before a move. The left behind scent is an added bonus for items that stay packed away for months at a time.

  12. Calm a Pet During Storms- Does your beloved pet get nervous during storms? An unscented dryer sheet will work wonders. Simply pet your pup with an unscented dryer sheet and help to calm them down with this fascinating tip.
